Upcoming Garage Sale

Not everyone had something to put in for our traditional sale this summer. So instead we are taking it to the street, the street I grew up on I mean! Ive enlisted in my family members that happen to all live on one street (yes its weird, I know) to get a sale together. That is 3 residences, plus 2 more from strangers on the street. Of course as we do not live on that street we were regulated to the empty lot on the street, fine with us!

Highlights from the last sale

We did not have a Fall sale like we normally do, but there was little to sell!

We didnt forget the highlights from our last garage sale though. To be clear we also weren't sure our old regulars would come. But sure enough we did see our favorite crazy old cat lady. Sadly there was no appearance by The Captain. 

There was this lady however. We fancy her choice of footwear. 

We of course had people that didnt know how to park, but the new location brought a welcome change with bicycle traffic.

The beer however does not promote an abundance of salesmanship from the staff.

New Garage Sale Location Review

2016 brought us a new location for our garage sales. A couple of us were skeptical given we weren't located one street off a main road. Buried back in a neighborhood with many twists and turns, it was our number of signs and places we posted online that saved us. Oh and that a house with a more prominent location was having a sale and sent people our way as well. But really we have excellent sign karma!



It's also nice we no longer have to deal with
1) A really steep drive way
2) Glaring sun and heat

The new and improved house has a long FLAT driveway.

Also there is a large shade tree to the one side, so thats a plus in the Florida sun. Aaahhh, shade.
