Garage Sale Boredom

Let's face it. Not every garage sale is win. Weather, competition, poor sale items are all things that contribute to a sale not being the best it can be. So what do you do when there's no one in your yard? You do what we do; make good use of the weird stuff being sold!

Take this child's toy. Conveniently one of us still fits inside it. Well sort of. It's find to find out though! Just glad she didn't slide down the driveway.

Living in Orlando you do have a large Hispanic demographic. We aren't sure why no one wanted to by this marionette from Mexico. He makes it look like so much fun :)

Heros of the Sale!

If ever there was a group of people that made a garage sale as successful as these guys.
They stopped on their way to a job and bought a ton of big ticket items. For that we send a shout out - If you ever need tree trimming we recommend calling them!

Then of course someone had to spoil a good ting and park like a dick and block the road.

Success!

In case you missed it, our latest garage sale was a hit! Well...for some people there it was successful. Others success was subjective. Did they hit their goal of making $30, yes. But is $30 really exciting, no.

Annual Fall Garage Sale!

Its that time of year again. Its freezing cold and all of us are layered up for the 60 degree morning, praying for a glimmer of sunlight to wash over the driveway and warm us up.

Seriously.

Fall Garage sale is November 22. We start at 7am. You can come earlier but we wont be pleasant to do business with. It ends at 12pm or sooner if people stop showing up.

What you can't see is that this lady may be in her late 40s. Let's tally what is going on here:
1 - short shorts
2 - large tramp stamp
3 - some sort of belted bag trying to be a fanny pack
4 - crop top

In a rush

Another instance of quality parking choices by our customers. Did they see something in the driveway so enticing they just forgot manners and common sense that they had to race up to get this sacred item?!

Bad parking

People apparently think if its a garage sale the normal rules of driving and parking must not apply to them. Case in point -

Gadgetry

Apparently theres a tool you can attach to your phone that allows you to scan bar codes of books and it tells you a few things. How much demand is for a book and potential cost of said book. This guy bought like 15 books from us!

There's always one of these at a sale

This is the lady that has to look at EVERY SINGLE item at the garage sale. Is she going to buy anything, probably not. But by god shes going to touch it all!

oh and she moves like a snail. she may have been there for 20 minutes. wish we'd gotten the lesson on knot typing she gave too.

Our garage sale June 2014

Had the annual summer garage sale in June. Of course we said no early birds, but some idiot showed up at 6:45a for a 7a start. naturally we didnt have everything out yet, so there wasnt much to see. But some of us are more organized than others getting ready.

Like normal people do not know how to park as to not block car traffic, hell even pedestrian traffic!

Late to start

You have a garage sale and you hustle to get all your stuff out so you can get started bright and early. Then there's that one guy that has stuff to sell, but shows up 2 hours in and isn't organized. We have one of those. But he's such a fun character, you'd be sad if he wasn't there!
